HI Tech Biz.,

Need a small favour.,

I;am encoding one of my movies which is in SVCD Format ..i;am doing conversion to VCD Format using TMPGENC 2.51

It seems the TMPGENC Crash while it encoding to VCD Format..sometimes it crashes at 95% or 25 %.,

dO U HAVE ANY IDEA due to ehat this problem

What are the methods you are using? Are you doing it directly from the MPEG source or are you doing dvd2avi->avs method? We can't help you unless you give us the information of what settings and method you used.

A good avs script file would be:

loadplugin("c:\locationofdll\MPEG2Dec3dg.dll")
mpeg2source("c:\movie.d2v")
BicubicResize(352,240,0,0.5) #BilinearResize(352,240) is good too.

Then load that into TMPG and add the audio and encode it.

Truthfully, I don't know why you want to convert it from SVCD. Since that degrades the video considerably. Unless your standalone can't play vcds, which is rare...
