I got a pm saying I broke rule 1.

Rule 1 states that I should do some research first before posting which I did. I search here, google and in xvid.org's forum without much luck.

All I can find are guides or link to guides when using VC++. As the thread states, I'm after IC7 compilation like what Nic used to do.

Also, the weird thing about searching is that if the person (like I do) don't know the key word/s to use, the search results doesn't help much.

A reply from the person who closed the thread or even doom9 would be appreciated. :)

You don't seem to understand what icl compiler is.

Check out this link http://www.intel.com/software/products/compilers/cwin/index.htm?iid=ipp_software+compilers_c_win&

There is atleast one thread about compiling devapi4 binaries. You don't need to know any wierd keywords. With word "devapi4" you can find this thread

I've seen that but ic7 wasn't really discussed at all. nor a guide or a link to a guide was given.
