Hello everyone. What a great place to learn. I have been reading as much as I can from this site. DVD conversion is not for the faint at heart. It seems that IfoEdit and DVDFab both do well in splitting a DVD into a 2 DVDr set, so that each can play in a stand alone player. However, is it possible to do it in such a way that the 2 DVD set can be recombined again and played on a PC as single DVD, menus and all on a hard drive?

Now I'm looking for a way to split DVDs so that joining them will be easiest. I've been using DVDFab because it's so easy but DVDFab insists on adding a changegraphic and so creates problems for future rejoining. I've tried the IFOEdit method on several DVDs (the one here at Doom9) and it's given me errors every time I use it.
Is there a free app out there that will split DVDs without adding a changegraphic and without giving errors every time? DVDRemake splits DVDs, right? Can I do this function with the demo? (never mind on this last question, I see that the demo won't export anything. I wonder why they call it a "demo?").
