Ok now and then I get a line of horz junk in the HDTV stream.
It looks like a green line many times or random colors.
it appears to be a decode error.
Almost always it is just 1 row or part of 1 row and and almost always just one frame.
Is there a filter(s) to detect this and remove these junk lines?
I was thinking a temporal filter could spot it easy by comparing
the frame before and after and see the MASSIVE change then use the info from the frame before and after to tween new pixels into the garbage area. sorta like a dust/spots/specs/scratches remover but more for decode errors and not true dust/spots/specs/scratches
BTW - what are the best dust/spots/specs/scratches filters?
i have a dvd of an OLD 60's show that could usethat type of filter also. It has lots of scratches and white specs.
thanks
