hi,

how do i enable ata100? everytime i boot up i see ata33 displayed even though my hds are ata100. i thought at first it was because my cables weren't good enough but i bought ata100 ide ribbon cables now and it still displays that...

Maybe your motherboard is not ATA 100 capable :)

Check BIOS Setup - look in manual where is setting.

You will need a ATA100 cable and your motherboard has to support it.
