is there a simple way to fix a sync problem?

I used IFOEDIT author dvd option to create a DVD with 1 dts soundtrack, When I played the result movie I noticed that the sound comes AROUND ¾ of a second after the lips move. Is there a way to fix it (using IFOEDIT?) without re-authoring the movie?
I ripped the DTS with DVD2AVI and the file name says delay 0ms.

Don't have an answer for you but are you doing a NTSC DVD? Also, was the movie too big if you had stripped the other audios and subtitles. I assume that you had shrunk your m2v and then proceeded to author.

The full stroy:
I used IfoEdit to strip all the unwanted subs,audios and clips from the source PAL dvd. I was letf with a >5gb PAL movie with DTS audio track only. The movie played without any sync problem (from my HardDrive). After some time i got a DVD burned. I wanted to burn the movie so i used DoCCE4U to re-encode the movie. I used IfoEdit to reauthor the m2v created by CCE with the original DTS soundtrack (which was extracted during the DVD2AVI process.)

Open up your VOB in VOBedit and go up to Edit and select Remux m2v. Create a new IFO of your new VOB and replace your old VOB with your new one after renaming accordingly. Use IFOupdate in adjusted cell mode and update original file using your newly created IFO as your authored IFO.

Will this process you described work the same for a ntsc movie only rip with a demuxed and rejiged video? If so, will it also allow retention of chapters info?
