LOTR.TTT.EE Is it Possible?

I bought this at Wally World and wanna make a single dvdr copy for raod trip for Thanksgiving. I have ripped and iso of both discs and have tried to join them unsuccesfully, I tried even to use dvdshrink 3.5 beta, and it did a decent job of trying to join them, but it still made 2 sets of vts sectors instead of 1. I want to use the big three method to downsample instead of transcode down. Can someone help me, do I need to rip to iso with pgc info. I haven't seen a good guide on this yet at all and would love to tackle it. All I want is the root menu and the movie. Please help me with any ideas you can.

you'll only be able to keep the first menu though.

it's quite easy without menus...
just demux both parts
add the sum of the .ac3 files and use DIF4U calc to calculate the bitrate and author - i would use scenarist for this task...thats what i did for LOTR - Fellowship EE and it turned out quite nice...hope this helps

but can't find a the navi menu in vobedit with the NTSC version of it. This is a tough one, didn't expect it to be easy, any help, helps though
