Hi, is it possible that vdubmod can split say an avi of 4gb into 700mb parts ? ITs kinda pain to set the sliders and save and try it over and over again to get it 700mb.
Thanks.

"ITs kinda pain to set the sliders and save and try it over and over again to get it 700mb."
Why try? There shuld be no reason for "tries":
1. crtl+alt+j
2. enter 700
3. press 'End'
4. save file
5. crtl+alt+j
6. enter 700
7. press 'Pos 1'
8. crtl+alt+j
9. enter 1400
10. press 'End'
11. save file
....
Sure it's a lot of clicking, but it goes relatively fast. ;)

faster method: in "save as" dialog check "segment output file" and input 700.

I can assure you, that this method will not split to sharp 700MB files. Some tweking is to be done, like using splitting size 702 for 700MB splits.

Thanks, I wasn't aware of this. Actually I used this option only once, writing an OGM. Anyway I didn't notice any strangeness in output size...
