Sound Extraction Problem

Hi,

I've got 1 AVI and I am doing a simple sound demux, works perfectly but the output WAV file is shorter in length than the video.

I've tried VirtualDub, VirtualDubMod and Nandub, they all do the same.

why?

This can happen if the AVI video stream is shorter than the audio stream (but I don't know why it would be). If that's the case, try going into the Video / Select Range menu, and uncheck the box which says "Cut off audio when video stream ends."
