hiho professionals...

i have a small problem here: i've got an OGM-File with an big error!

if i try to demux or play it, the message "ogg_sync_pageseek failed, 32768 bytes skipped - process aborted" comes out!

i think, i can fix the problem, if i can remux the file... but: i cant do programms with C++. i dont know that language! so i need professional help!!!

here a list of programms i use:
WinXP
VLC (or Windows Media Player 9)
Koepis XviD
OGG DS 0.9.9.6
FFDshow of 16.Aug.03
file should be muxed with OggMux 0.9.5.1
Audio should be Encoded with BeSweet (Surround2)

is it possible to fix that problem? can someone write a Demux-Programm? i think there are some SourceCodes on the WWW, but maybe you can ignore the "pageseek"...

plz let me know, if there is a possibility to rescue that ogm-file! thx! This is my E-Mail-Adress (graalandria@web.de)
ps: i'm german... that's the reason why my english is so... bad.

plz help me! thx!

plz, i really need help!
all i need is to extract the video-stream out of the ogm-file! isn't it possible to ignore the pageseek?
may someone can compile a small command-line-tool which extracts stream 0 out of an input-file! out there in the www are some source-codes for demuxing ogm's, but i cant compile or chance them :(

bushman,
what programs did you use for demuxing?

also try oggds0995 for playback (0996 has still some bugs i think...)

VirtualDubMod can't open it eighter. :(
but: what do you mean with mkvmerge?

and i tried to demux it with "OGMDemuxer v1.0a1 -- an Ogg Media file demultiplexer" (Copyright 2002 Cyrius)
i'm not sure, but i think, i've found it anywhere else. (not on doom9)

last chance to fix that problem seams to be downgrading the OGDShow.

thx for your help... if it works with ogds0995, i'll edit that post. if not, i'll erase that f***ing file ;)

edit, because you are not allowed to answer your own post... (anti-spammer).
if it works, i'm gonna add a comment like "yeah, that was the failure! downgrade to OggDS0995, and the problem will be fixed" or something similar.

but at the moment, i cant try to downgrade it, cos i'm still ripping a DVD ;) ... oki... cya l8ter

oki! test is done! test failed :(
the OGGDS is NOT the problem! seems to be a destroyed file.
but thx for your help anyway!
