I just got an IOMEGA Super DVD (external USB). It came with software to burn almost any video file and works fine.
I have a few demo paintball DVD's which I ripped with SmartRipper and DVDShrink. It makes a bunch of .VOB and other files, but my program (Sonic MYDVD) won't import these.
Do I need another program? Thanks

hi and welcome to the forum,
well honestly i do not know sonic myDVD (although it also came with my burner), but you can use Nero (in the approptiate DVD video mode) to burn the files, or create an Iso (image) file out of these files with a program called ImageTool Classic and then burn it to your DVD using any program that supports iso writing! a free program would be DVDdecrypter for example!

PS: ImageTool Classic and DVDdecrypter can be found on www.doom9.org in the download section!
edit: damnit... i should have gone for a nap before writing this post... :)

Almost all authoring programs r capable of importing only elementary streams. That is a file for video and another for audio.
U must demux the vob files in order for them to be accepted by myDVD.
U can use for this task vobedit or vobrator.
