I have a pretty clean source that after frameserving with Avisynth to CCE gets a little noisy.

As I understand scripting, filters to remove noise come before resizing, but what can you do to clean it up afterwards

TIA

If your source is really clean, then it should be clean after being resized.

Filters that remove noise will do their job wherever they are placed, because the resizer won't modify the looking of the clip ( at least, it will try ). However, there are resizers, lanczos and sharpbicubic, that will reduce your clip while still making it look sharp ( human eyes prefer a sharp picture to a soft one ). They may increase the impression of noisiness, but they'll only magnify a noise already in the original picture. So if your denoised it properly before resizing, it won't be here after.

You can also resize, and then denoise, there is nothing that prevents you from doing so. But if so, and if you're downsizing your clip, a denoising at same strength settings will be stronger after resizing than before, so if your settings were fine when placed before resizing, they may be too strong after.
