Registry Settings For IC8

I'm running IC8 on two machines. On one I installed it from Scratch with no existing version of IC on the machine. I wanted to test it before Upgrading my main machine. On this machine I went in and did the registry tweaks suggested here. After a A time I decided to upgrade my existing version 7 machine to IC8. After the install I went to the registry to tweak and found not of the same registry settings. Now IC8 does not completely remove the IC7 registry settings , they are still listed. And I was looking at the ones for version 7.5 (Version 8) does anyone have any ideas here? It must be becasue of upgrading and not installing from scratch. Now I'm wondering if I should have uninstalled version 7 before putting in version 8. I did not install Instant Drive on either machine.

does IC8 work?, I'm not so sure what you are asking, maybe you can clarify what you are asking

IC7 reg settings will still be left in and IC8 uses 7.5 and IC8 should work fine as there's no need to worry about the IC7 settings :)

what I'm saying is that when I installed Version 8 directly from CD onto a machine that had no version of it, I had registry settings like all the ones listed here that you can change like "Maxdestsize"
etc. When I look at my upgraded machines registry under the 7.5 key I see none of the same registry entries.

there are two VOB folder entries that contain the 7.0 and 7.5 folders

are you looking at the right one?
