Hi Guys,

Have searched and can't find any mention of this. I've been backing up the R2 Babylon 5 disks (season 3) with IC7. Here's the steps:

1. Rip in iso mode with decryter.
2. mount in dtools.
3. Use IC7 customise to set menu and titles 7,8,9 to 30%
4. Set title 1 to 65% (which is linked to titles 2,3,4,5)
5. Encode and burn.

All works fine, been getting consistant 4.33ish GB output as expected.

The weird thing is that once I insert the disc in my standalone (Pioneer) it goes to the menu, I select an episode and watch it after which I hit the menu button (to return to the menu) on my remote and the player tells me that this option is not available on this disc. What the??? It won't let me return to the menu, only way to get back is to eject and re-insert the disc.

Please let me know if you've seen IC7 stuff up navigation like this. From memory I don't let IC7 touch any P-UOPS so why is it changing navigation?

I am also not removing any titles with IC7 as I realise this can cause navigation issues.

These discs are authored stangely too. All 4 episodes are in VTS01, then VTS02-VTS05 are the individual episodes that somehow link into VTS01 with correct start/end points for just the one episode.

Fortunately the player has title based navigation so I can select each titleset by name (without the menu) but it's not ideal.

Thanks for any tips.

Cheers,
Arkay
