Scanning for broken frames

Is there a program that will let me scan my mpeg files for bad/broken frames. Because sometimes when I make a vcd and theres a bad frame it just stops playing and I cannot move past it on my dvd player.

If you original file is .avi, you can use VirtualDub. There's also a version of VirtualDub for .mpeg files and VCDGear program.

When you post, you need to supply details like source format and encoder used.

Im not encoding anything, im just saying a random mpg file how do i scan it for bad frames.
