I did a search and could not find any information. I have Baby Einstein DVDs and would like to backup them. Some discs are less than 2GB. So I am thinking about merging them into one disc. I wonder if there is anyway to merge them while keep the menus? I mean to have a new menu which has 2 buttons, for example, link to manus of 2 DVDs. I know this requires re-auther it. But I really don't like to have 12 backup discs they will be scratched. Thanks.

Here's a quick solution, I have done this several times and its great:

Use DVDShrink's ReAuthoring function, this will only give you the video and NO MENUS, so to do the trick follow this instructions:

Now that you have a VIDEO_TS folder (outputted by DVDShrink) you should put that inside an ISO image, I use UltraISO, its unexpensive and very reliable.

After you've done that, mount the ISO in your system (if you dont know how, please read the Big 3 Tutorial at www.doom9.org)

Use DIF4U to separate all the files into VTSs (folders and all) and you might also want to use ReAuthorist

Put everything to 100% in ReAuthorist (if it doesnt need compression, so when you make the script, it calls the correct files)
Create the Script (it's the ReAuthor Button)

Import everything as you should to Scenarist

Create a menu and highlight layers in photoshop

Import to Scenarist and do all the linking job; its a tedious job, but its worth it

If you dont know how to handle menus on Scenarist, please check the Manual

Enjoy your 1 DVD :)
