Okay guys i did many of searches for bitrate, dvd2dvdr, and so on. I couldn't find a definitive answer about bitrates. I just started ripping dvds starting with blade and blade 2 with great success using guides from mr. bass and mij.
Things are getting difficult with saving private ryan. A much bigger dvd. I tried ripping this with the default settings from mij's guide. It came out at about 5.1 gigs with video+audio.
I came across some plugins when reading through everything but they didn't really specify anything for dvd2dvdr. I can't imagine people are just testing different bitrates and re-ripping a movie over and over. There must be a different way around the bitrate options that i'm missing out on. Can anyone give me some advice?
