Hi to all. I do have Creative Audigy2 Plat Ex. I recently upgraded my PC with Gigabyte 8KNXP, P4 2.8 800 FSB, 1GB Kingston HyperX DDR 400 CL2 in a Thermaltake XaserIII black super tower powered by Herolchi 450 Watt supply.
As you can see my PC is really a good machine so I freshlly installed WinXP Pro SP1. I installed the Audigy's drivers (the updated one from their site) and the applications from the CD. I updated all applications and applied all windows updates. I inserted a DVD-Audio disc (Deep Purple at the Royal Albert Hall) and it played fantastic with Creative DVD-Audio player version 1.00.82.

I continued installing all other software in my PC went to bed and now next day I try to play the same disc and my computer crashes and reboots on its own. I can't believe it I tried every possible solution like unistalling and reinstalling drivers but the same thing happen. I installed WinDVD Platinum with its dvd-audio pack and the disc refuses to play. BUT if I go and unistall the creative dvd-audio plugin which is installed by windvd then the disc is played with no problem. Still the Creative's dvd-audio software crashes my PC.
Please, please tell me what can be a possible solution to this. What can make the PC crash at all. Has anyone of this occured to anyone of you?
Thanks in advance
