Lately vdub and vdubmod have been crashing when I close the program and gives me a kernal32 registry setting error. I was wondering if there is a way to reset the registry settings?

HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> Software -> Freeware
You will find the registry settings for VirtualDub and VirtualDubMod here. You can delete them (it will reset the preferences to their default values).

Thanks,
I deleted both folders and it started fine, now when I close it I get an "Out of Bounds Memory Access occured in module 'VIRTUALDUB'". What happened?
Now when it said "close program" my pc went black and gave multiple errors.:rolleyes:

Maybe your windows installation as expired (and I mean expired in the my-yoghurt-has-green-fuzzy-spots sense). Do you also have problems with other programs?

Actualy I found out why but havnt figured out how to fix it. When I create an avs script for a vob file and load it in vdub it runs and encodes perfect. but when I quite or "Close Video File" it get's an error.
Any clue why? everything else works fine.

I've got the same problem. Funny thing is, if I delete
the VirtualDub.jobs file, VirtualDub doesn't crash anymore
on exit.I reported this error already to Avery.

Exactly the same problem, except that deleting virtualdub.jobs is of no help.
I tried VD 1.5.2, 1.5.3, 1.5.6, 1.5.9 and VDMod 1.5.1.1a, 1.5.4.1.
I add that I use AVS 2.53, Windows 2000 Pro, and an Athlon XP 2000.

As to my concern, the problem was resolved by removing the Warpsharp.dll from the "AviSynth2.5/Plugins" directory.
