Deja Vu!

There is no way to rip DVD-A at this time. I have heard that some record the audio via s/pdif in. Searching is your friend, here and on hydrogenaudio.org.

AS I described in that topic.
Any experiences so far ?
In the meantime it might be worth considering buying an DVD-A capable soundcard, audigy2, and/or an 5.1 analogue recording variant.

More and more people keep on asking about DVD-Audio->????...
I don't know how many times Kpex wrote Deja vu,why?,because some people will never understand the meaning of the button SEARCH on this forum. There is a way to do the conversion. One of them that I use at the moment is this:
Hardware requirements-> Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Pro Sound Card,Sequencing software that can open 96/24 multichannel or 192/24 stereo(possibly Audition(former CoolEdit).
If you play DVD-Audio disk in creative media player that comes with the card there are some settings that will give you the opportunity to record via SPDIF "What you hear" or whatever it is your configuration and need. Most probably the easyest conversion from 2 channel stereo to 5.1 matrixed sound via hardware is if you play stereo wav, activate "CMSS" (of course properly configured),choose "What you hear" option and record.Almost the same procedure for DVD-Audio.Transcode with BeSweet and you're done,I can't elaborate on the quality from this method.Anyway if someone knows a link for DTS-Audio *AUD Files(short samples) please respond.
