No audio in one player only

I have a number of players, including Media Player Classic, Zoom and Sasami. They all work perfectly well. This week I downloaded the DivX 2.5 Player, and it looked very nice. But this particular player will not play back any audio. Anyone got a suggestion how to solve this problem (except for "continue using one of the other players")?

No, the audio is muxed mp3.

Having the same problem after reinstalling my System.

Here: Mediaplayer plays video and sound of divx5+vbr-mp3 .avi
zoomplayer 3.30 does not play sound.

somewhat strange, because before redoing the system, everything did well.
