I'm trying to author a number of home movies to DVD but am having issues with the Movie Factory 2. Whenever it has to re-encode the mpg file it ALWAYS results in video that skips. The audio plays without a hitch even though it's being converted from MPEG to PCM, the video just skips. I've checked the files beforehand and they play just fine. The problem is with the VOB files themselves - it happens whether watching from a software player from the HD or from a disc on my standalone.
Can someone give me some insight as to how to fix this?
