strange purple color when converting to svcd

hello i get a strange purple that fades in for a few seconds, when trying to convert to svcd. is there anyway i can use some kind of program to get rid of this im using dvd2svcd with canopus to convert my divx file.

some help would be great thanks.

Upgrade your DivX (the decoder is buggy) or use SwapUV()
