The Best Way To Get Quality

Hey guys, I'm a perfectionist when it comes to ripping, I was wondering if anyone could explain to me how I can create the best-looking rip(not-average or good using DivXPro5.1, I have a friend who downloaded Lord Of the Rings that was on two discs and it was in the best quality I've ever seen in the way of compressed quality....
PLEASE GET BACK TO ME ON THIS ASAP

There are several reasons why : There is no such thing as "best" for this type of video encoding. No one single set of filters or procedures can be used in every case. Quality is highly subjective. Content is highly variable. There are a multitude of choices that can effect the outcome.

You are looking for a silver bullet, and it doesn't exist.

Not only does a "best" not exist, but asking for a "best" opinion is a violation of forum Rule #12.

One of the forum's most important rules is about the protection of intellectual property. It's Rule #6. The first rule broken is... asking what's best. Rule 12

Use slowest mode, 6 passes, fast PV, and update log file. Use 64kbps Ogg Vorbis audio to maximize the video bitrate. Aim for video bitrates of >=1000kbps. Vary the resolution until you get >=60% compressibility in Gordian Knot. Go to 2CD's if you can't do this in 1CD.

You'll get good results, if you're willing to wait.
