hi.
is there something like a dvd decrypter online help which just says what each menu entry does?

what does "remove ifo/bup puos" and "remove vob puos" mean?

what does rce protection mean? when i started dvd decrypter for the first time with a certain disk in the drive, it said that this disk is rce protected and if its not region 1 i have to change some rce protection region settings. i couldnt find where to make these settings and when launched again dvd decrypter doesnt show such a log at startup. and it seems it ripped the disk fine. now i found the setting and set it to 2. do i have to rip the other dvd again? what might be the problems when ripping a region 2 dvd with rce region setting set to 1?

PUOs stand for Prohibited User Operations. Removing these will let you fastforward at any time, press the menu at any time, switch streams without the menu, etc.

RCE is a enhanced version of the original Region encoding using IFO logic. If you set the setting to anything other than what it is supposed to be, and you're doing a straight type of DVD backup (i.e. burning to DVD+-R) then it will not work and you should rip again. But if you're transcoding to a different medium (i.e. Mpeg-4, RealVideo) than it doesn't matter.
