I mirrored Masktools 1.4.1 (http://cultact-server.novi.dk/kpo/avisynth/masktools-1.4.1.zip).

I cannot give you any help on the syntax ATM.

I can make a crude version for you, and it'll be faster. But also alot less pretty. You can then improve on it if you want.

theres alot of artifacts in the video that look like squares and the outline widening isnt that much
but if u could tell me how u make the outlines wider and darker it would save us both alot of time dont u agree :)

I make the outlines wider and darker by using mfToon :D. Nah really, you're defeating the purpose of mftoon. It's not even meant to widen the lines. mfToon is simply meant for people who have blurry anime where the lines are thick and soft (and thus not black anymore). So first it darkens the lines (they were already thick (wide as you call it), but because they're dark you can see it), then it sharpens them, and then warps the lines to hopefully become thinner (the warpsharp is there for that reason alone, not for more sharpening), so that in the end the original line as it was meant by the cartoonist can be reconstructed. This process is slow, and if you take out the sharpening you might as well just take out the darkening too. Now in this thread you asked how MaskTools works. Well I posted an example. It should be enough to get started to make your own line darkener if you want. After all, you now know how MaskTools works. All you have to do now is browse the avisynth.org manual and get to know avs scripting. I wish you luck. The lazy people may just wait for mfToon-v0.5. It'll be faster and better.

You mean overwarped? Simple: download a better version. I ultimately hate cleaning up the mess other people created by their incompetence. That's why I always rant at crappy anime raws ;).

Well, then you're asking the wrong person. Besides, there are so many LH DVDrips out there, not to mention it's licensed *hint hint*.

Can anyone answer my question? Is Masktools still being developed?
