I aplolgize if this has been asked before but this is getting
the better of me!
Using the big three without problems on all except progressive NTSC
files.
Can someone please pass the settings for AVS, or point me in
the right direction?
I have removed any deinterlacing commands.
My end Mpeg2 file is very jerky.

Thanks in advance.

what version of DIF you using... latest versions (1.3.4 is latest) has better stream detection routines and might fix your problem

Thanks for the reply, the silence lead me to believe I was
missing something simple. (and I could be too)
I have downloaded and installed all the latest.

DIF as you mentioned.
CCE 2.7* sorry can't be more accurate here but I think
the latest. I am not at my home workstation.
Decryptor 3.1.7 (the latest)

The Movie is "The Italian Job" Region 1.
An expensive import for me (Region 4 here)

It show as Progressive with "Film" when viewed in dvd2avi.

I have tried Force film and IVTI and the result is the same.
Any further hints would really be helpful.
I really don't want to use the one button type programs if
I can help it.

Thanks again
