Hi,

I did a backup of one of my DVD (Willow) with the big 3. This DVD has 9 VTS and I reencoded n°2,4,5,6. I authored a new DVD with Scenarist, I copied the VIDEO_TS directory created by DOIF4U to a new directory called Final\VIDEO_TS. Then I copied all the authored VOB to this new directory (I didn't copy the dummy ones of course). Then I ran IfoUpdate on IFO n°2,4,5,6. Everything looked fine.
The problems is: when I try to read the Final\VIDEO_TS directory with Windvd 5, nothing happens. I have to press play one more time. The other DVDs start at load, but this one must be started by hand. I tried to play it with IfoEdit DVD Play. With the original DVD, IfoEdit shows the usual copyright screens of the DVD and I can see 'Video Manager Menu (VMG)' in IfoEdit's control panel. With my backup, IfoEdit jumps directly to title 33 and the screen remains black. I burned the backup on a DVD+RW, and my standalone switches to pause and the screen remains black.

Does someone have an idea?

sounds like a restricted cell problem. search doitfast4u knowledgebase for fix

Thanks for your answer !

I looked in the DIF4U knowledgebase and found how to unrestrict a cell. When I pushed Exit in IfoEdit's DVD play, a message indicated me that it played Title 4. So I opened VTS_04_0.IFO and unrestricted 2 cells. Now it's working in IfoEdit's DVD Play. Tomorrow I burn it on a +RW and I test it on my standalone.

Again, thank you, I wouldn't have found this solution by myself.
