@Forum,

I did try to make Mp2 from Ac3 using BeSweet,
I just simply use BeSweetGUI and SVCD profile and change the
the rate into 44100 and bitrate into 224.

The result is not as perfect as I expected,
in the random time sometimes I can heard the "crack" sound :(

Can someone have experience like me and know the solution?

PS. BeSweet 15.b23 + GUI 0.6.

I met this problem, too.
You can use HeadAC3he instead, which hasn't this problem.
I'm trying to find the problems!

Try to use mp2Enc instead of tooLame?

I've found that the cracking is a result of 44.1 to 48, or 48 to 44.1, depending on what your doing. What I would do is encode the ac3 to mp2, 224 and not change the rate. After you've got the mp2 use some other audio encoding program to change the rate to 44.1. Like cdex(free) or expstudio(cost) there are many that will do it, someone told me winamp will (i've never tried). I've tried HeadAC3he and never been happy with the results.

If the sound is still not acceptable then try to play with the gain (in besweet) when encoding, set it manually and play around until you find what you like. Start out at 5.0db and go up until your happy, sometimes you'll have a 30+ gain.

@wangchong7,
Yes. I've used mp2enc instead toolame and the result is
better (less crack sound) than toolame.

@mudda_t
I will test it shortly. Since 48->44.1 into .wav is ok,
I think the problem is in mp2enc or toolame.
