View Full Version : Extras and games on a second miniDVD

For my little brother, I want to put all the extras on the Stitch movie on a second disc. I basically want strip the movie and keep the original games as they are. (Because trying to figure out how they were structured from scratch is a pain. ><) I was able to master the movie on one disc. (So the quality isn't perfect, but hey, my little brother doesn't mind. :) Plus, half-D res is great.) I also want to re-encode the previews and the music video so they will fit as well as make sure the bitrate is low enough. DVD bitrates authored on a miniDVD cause the player to skip big time. So I stick with SVCD bitrates for video and keep the original soundtrack ac3. (IF it's not that big of course. ;) Usually I re-encode it to 128 or 160 so I have more room for the video.) I've done this on other dvds I own that I don't want him bugging me to "borrow".

Anyways, what I want is to get rid of the movie, keep the extras and games and re-encode the trailers and music video and re-encode the animated menues. (Did I not mention this earlier? )

Is there a simple way to do this? Or at least a way to do this w/o having to strip it by vobid and reconstruct it in dvdmaestro? Any help would be much appreciated.

This would be so much simpler if I had a DVD burner drive. Then I could just shrink the video and replace the original.
