Hi to you all,
When using the MKMerge to join the Mkv. file that i get with virtualdubmod and join the he-aac audio or the quicktime aac audio i always get an error no matter what player i use (Bsplayer/viplayer/wmp)
With he-aac (yes with aac is sbr check) i get the picture with no sound with this error as follow:
BSPlayer
Error Signature
AppName: bsplay.exe AppVer: 1.0.0.800 ModName: coreaac.ax
ModVer: 1.1.0.573 Offset: 0000bf58
Viplayer
Error Signature
AppName: viplay.exe AppVer: 2.0.7.0 ModName: coreaac.ax
ModVer: 1.1.0.573 Offset: 0000bf58
When i join the quicktime aac with the mkv file i don't get anything, gives always an error.....
Do you know what the problem should be???
Thanks for all your help.

MKvToolnix Version 0.75
Many thanks for your help and work regarding matroska.

I am not aware that Quicktime does produce b0rked AAC files ?
How do you make the HE-AAC files ? what Nero version are you using ? Do you extract them to AAC files in Nero, or as MP4 ?

Update on what i have installed
Matroska Playback Pack
Matroska MP4 Pack
Insolit Matroska Pack
Mkv ToolNix
All Updated
The process was:
I extract the audio with DVD2AVIdg in to wave file
Then i use quicktime player 6.4 Pro to encode the audio to MP4 (Wav - MP4) - When i mux with mkvtoolnix give me an error and nothing appear, if uninstall coreaac, the image appear, but ofcourse, without sound.
Then i use Nero Version 6.0023 (last version), then nero wave editor, i open the wav file and put save as he-aac variable bit rate (between 50k and 70k), it's a preset for portable, i encode and voilá.
In both audio files QT and Nero he-aac in the audio type is MP4, so it is as MP4.
I don't know what is happen but the error always give this result:
AppName: viplay.exe AppVer: 2.0.7.0 ModName: coreaac.ax
ModVer: 1.1.0.573 Offset: 0000bf58
It's on the coreaac, because if i uninstall this everything runs well...but without aac sound, it's a stupid error...
Again, thanks for your help and understanding regarding this problem.
With Best Regards

I expect that your insolit pack is old and contains and outdated version of CoreAAC. Get the very latest CoreAAC from http://rarewares.hydrogenaudio.org and install only CoreAAC, nothing else, if the rest of the file is playing fine now.
Another thing : Can you open the file in Graphedit ( see doom9 downloads section ) with the 'file' 'render media' function and send me a screen shot of the playback graph in both cases, with and without CoreAAC installed, to chris AT matroska.org ?
