View Full Version : IC8 creates broken PDIs?

I just wonder: tried to mount different PDI images created with IC8 using Daemon Tools 3.41 (http://www.daemon-tools.cc). Unfortunately, I get an error "Unable to mount image. Invalid ADR field detected." with every image I tried.
The authors auf Daemon Tools claim that IC creates images against the PDI specification and are not willing to investigate. Though I'm willing to believe this, I wonder why DVDDecrypter can burn these "broken" images and PDITool can convert them to ISO flawlessly.

Can anyone enlighten me?

Yes, IC creates images against the PDI specification but you can create a mdf file with DVDDecrypter and then mount the image with daemon tools or Alcohol.
You also can burn directly with DVDDecrypter.
