To begin with, GREAT forum here. Very informative and educational.

Question: Yesterday I downloaded a multi-part m00vie and it ended up being in .mp4 format. Would someone please tell me what that is and how I go about getting it to play on my system. I've never seen .mp4 before and I'm really confused.

All help appreciated and

Ooooppppzzzz...sorry (really) about that. My BIG mistake. Won't happen again - EVER!

But I should have clarified it. It wasn't really illegal. A friend of mine put a home movie of the home arrival of his new born and he wanted me to see it. Unfortunately...that was about two week's ago, and now he's on a business trip till the middle of next week and his wife don't know jack about this, that's why I hoped someone would know the answer. (Why he made the flik .mpeg4 is beyond me).

Anywayz...thnx for your reply and rest assured I'll conform to the rule's.

A multi-part movie of the birth of a child? A few frames of this would have been all that I could take. :)

Still, this topic falls under the guidelines laid down in the Announcement (http://forum.doom9.org/announcement.php?s=&forumid=6/) from the top of the Newbies home page. No help is to be issued on downloaded files.
