why do the ic7 mada me a files smaller than 4.7gb ?

i just finished encoding a movie using ic7 , now a question that intresting me is that a movie who in the original (only the main movie) have 4 vob files of 1.04gb and another one of 945mb is becoming 3 vob file of 1.04gb and another one of 891mb (and thats after i choose in ic7 4.3gb at the precent green line)
is it a seriously damagin the quality ?
is there a way to make it 4.7gb ( i tought using the green line i can do it but those files created after i choose 4.31gb)

4.37Gb is the actual size you should be aiming for with IC
