Hi !

Reading some articles inthe forum, I found the expression cce. If Iīm right, cce is anothe method to backup DVDīs. It brings better quality than programs like DVD2One or DVD Shrink, but it takes longer. But could someone explain me what cce really means, which programs do you need, if it is difficult to use for beginners. I really havenīt an idea what this all is about :-) Man, I only want to backup some DVDīs, and there are so many programs and everyone has different oppinions, I donīt know what program and what method to use !

It stands for "Cinema Craft Encoder" (thanks Google, *hint hint*) and is used for MPEG encoding, it is mentioned in that context in the DVD2SVCD Guides on this very site...

If you want another opinion :) (and a primer on the matter), have a look at this (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=62858) guide. It explains the different methods so you can make an educated choice.
