Some may be interested in this info I got from DVICO:
"FusionHDTV II is not capable of receiving QAM because of hardware limitation. We are developing a new hardware that make QAM receiving possible, but we are having difficulties in making it work and we do not know when we will succeed at this moment."
The good news is that they are working on it!
