Hi there,
I have a question for DVDShrink/Recode users and IFOedit-savvy guys out there :)
Oftentimes when re-encoding a DVD with DVDShrink or Recode I also remove unwanted audio languages and subtitles to retain a better picture quality. The question is: would it be possible to edit the list of audio tracks and subtitles so that only the available languages are listed when you press the "audio" or "subtitle" button on the DVD player? Let's say that the original DVD has 3 languages: English, French, German and I only want to keep English in my backup copy. Is it possible to "delete" the striped languages from the audio tracks list so that the list matches the streams that are actually available on disc? Of course I mean the OSD menu that appears when you press the remote "audio" button while the movie is playing, not the graphic menus and buttons.
Thanks in advance.

Hey, I think these guides will help you with that. Basically, by removing any reference to the streams you removed, it shouldn't be listed by the DVD player either:

@nomax

The second guide that rpboy posted is a common scenario when stripping audios with IfoEdit.
