I've done a lovely conversion of a French language dvd and for the first time tried using SVCD subtitles rather than trusty old friend 'permanent subtitles'.

Guess what? My dvd player (Pioneer DVD-545) doesn't play them. I burnt the svcd_ogt_test_ntsc .cue and .bin just to make sure.

Is there an easy way of using the subtitles WinSubMux used to make on-screen permanent subtitles? (WinSubMux recognises them all using the analysis function)

I've erm... deleted the VOBs and have no DVD too. <ducks>

Got everything else dvd2svcd doesn't delete automatically. Can anything be done?
