Quick SVCD -> DVDr Encoding

If i where to encode a svcd to dvd, would it be better to resize to 720 x 576 or 352 x 288.?

As i dont wanna use that dvd patcher, other wise i will end up with a dvd-svcd, which wont be fully complient .

Use 720x576 or 352x576. 352x288 is a way to small Resolution for a good Picture-Quality.

I'll think i'll go for 352x576 for pal and 352 x 480 if its ntsc, as i think that going to full dvd res the picture might not look as good due to the fact the source was smaller.

So would my avs script look like this
