You closed my thread titled understanding svcd's under rule 6, which is if you do not own the video you make backups/copies of, well at the very start of my post i said my friend made the avi file from a dvd he had bought, just to clarify this, can u please re-open.

Oh right, my aspect of owned was if i downloaded an avi file or movie, not having a mate make an avi file of a movie he owned.
