SVCD Builder, WHY has it crashed my p.c ?

[The Rig]

installed svcdbuilder, extracted all the zip files to c:, ran svcd builder.exe and nought happened, nothing, yet my processor went nuts for 20 mins, so i end tasked and tried again, 6 times i tried and nothing fired up, so i reboot and now my machine wont work, even in safe mode i cant uninstall it or the avisynth 2.5 or ffvfw.

im using an old laptop at the moment and it is very annoying !!

not happy ! shant be using or advertising that bit of kit !

What OS are you using?
What is happening when you reboot?
Can you still access windows, what shows up when it's trying to start?
Have you checked if the software was infected with a virus?
Where did you get it from?
Did you scan your system with a virus-scanner?
I don't know if you only wanted to report this, or if you want to repair your system...
If you want to repair it, giving us more information would be useful...
