how did you rip the DVD?
have you modified the files in any way?
you need to make sure you have ripped all the files from the DVD
IC is checking for the files and it's has reported that you are missing some
the link below is an old guide but it may help as I think it's still the same option
DVDDecrypter ripping all files in file mode (http://www.deano.dsl.pipex.com/backup/dvdd2.htm)

you need to make sure you rip the complete DVD if you want to use IC directly after ripping
you can use DVDShrink to rip just the movie title direct from the DVD and IC will accept that. You will lose menu's but there are plenty of methods to keep the menu's
I think you can also use the older version of DVDFAB to rip a title direct form the DVD, not sure on the new one
the guys will soon tidy up where I have left off :)

IC7 has a registry mod that allows you to remove titles so you can get rid of extras
but playback may depend on your standalone player as some will refuse to play DVD's produced using IC7 to strip content
all depends what you want, but there's a quite a few tools and methods to get rid of anything you want and they are all in this forum somewhere :)
as far as ripping goes, it will all depend on what you want to do to the DVD as you may not need to rip the complete DVD

im sorry to nag you , but here is my situation : i have the dvdrw for 1 year during that i tried dvdxcopy which my standalone dvd didnt read , then i tried to split the movie to 2 parts and some of them was good and most of them again my dvd didnt read .
finaly i found dvd2one and using it my standalone dvd player play them all but sometimes he has a little hickups (jumping) and it ruin the hole movie .
i read and understand the ic7 is the easiest way to burn dvd movies on 1 disc (4.7gb) at the best quality. so i decided to try it but then all those problems appears ( the one i first write) .
i dont care for extras and menus i only want for the main movie will fit on 1 disc and that i dont have the jumping.
although i have the dvdrw for a year im consider myself for a new user so please dont suggest the cce and all those programs (tried it)
****now maybe its the way i ripped the original disc , i ripped it like i did when i used dvd2one and it was ok then.
any suggestion ?
and again im sorry for the nagging.

you could use DVDShrink directly on the DVD using Reauthor mode (guides HERE (http://www.dvdshrink.info)and get it to rip and reduce, if neccessary, the DVD
if you don't want to reduce with Shrink then use DVDShrink at 100% on just the movie title, again using reauthor and then feed the resulting files into IC
you can use any software to burn the resulting files with either method but use one you know burns a DVD that will play in your standalone
you ain't nagging, you are learning ;)
p.s. it ain't a Sony is it?
