size of DVD..

Hi all,

I'm trying IC8 and I can't be able to change size of final destination to 4,36GB instead 4,31GB default size. Does anyone know?? Is it true that in terms of quality IC8 is better than DVDShrin and other transcoders??? or at end works all well???. Thanks in advance!

try and get hold of InstantCopy Hidden Settings

I think 1.4.1 is the latest version as this will allow you to change the size without having to change the registry manually. I'm sure you can do other stuff with it too but I just used to hack my reg

as for quality it's all a matter of opinion and you can't really ask what is 'best' as it just leads to disagreements :)

I think that I'll modify registry.
As what concern quality I've read something about difference between encoders and transcoders but I can't understand very well. (sorry but I consider myself newbie in this world). Till today I've used TmpGenc to reduce size of films but I think that those programs "all in one solution" are very easy to use and very fast but quality in results? I think that there are parameters to measure it because simply seeing transcoded films it seems always the same. So however thanks again and good work.
