I'm not sure if this belongs in this forum or the IFO/VOB Editing forum. I'm sorry if I guessed wrong...

I'm trying to create DVD menus based on the original DVD menus. I already have the video stream, using IfoEdit to strip the VobID, VobEdit to demux the m2v & ac3 streams and then edited them as desired. I then used SubRip to pull the sub picture and modified the bmp with Photoshop. I'm putting it all together now in DVDMaestro, but the colors for the button selection and action are totally wrong. Looking at the VTSM_PGCI_UT -> LU_1 (Video Title Set Menu PGCI Unit Table -> PGC-Menu 1) table in IfoEdit I see palette entries, but they are the same as the ones for the main movie subtitles (VTS_PGCITI -> VTS_PGC_1). I've tried MenuEdit, but it didn't show me anything usful for the palette entries.

Am I using the wrong tools or just looking in all the wrong places?

Edited Because I was in RGB frame of mind and forgot about colorspace (YUV) values in IfoEdit.

Okay, I think I have a more concise idea of what I'm looking for:

How do I find which menu palette colors from the original IFO to assign to my authored menu and what gamma/transparancy to set for each entry?

This is definately an IfoEdit question now, so I am going to post over there now. Sorry for the post-in-the-wrong-place.
