I can't see XviD on compression... virtualdub(mod)

Recently I installed accedantly an older version of XviD than the one included in GKnot Codec Pack and since then I can't see on Video tab > Compression (in virtual dub) XviD codec BUT I can use it with GKnot. So how can I recover it again? I've tried re-installing the most recent version but the problem continues. Any solution?

Thanks people and continue with these wonderful codec (even better than the slow divx :mad: )

like most people say here, codec packs are evil :devil: :D

check drivers32 in regedit, delete blank entries... u will get it back... it happened to me may times when i reinstall a new ver of codec xvid/divx ... though I dont use any codec packs

Thanks (a lot) cjaar, now it works fine and I can see it again in virtualdubmod :D
