Can you use DVDShrink 2.3 to re-author a DVD9 to 2 DVD5 and then somehow use infoedit (or some other tool) to "fix" the menus/make the menus work? Failing that, there is a great guide for splitting a movie with infoedit on doom9, is there a guide for splitting episodic discs like Anime or CSI seasons, and still keeping the menus? If not would someone more knowledgable than myself think about making one or explaining it to me here?

i've used dvd shrink 2.3 and 3.0 and backed up the whole movie onto a single dvd-5 disk large movies too.and i've viewed them in comparison with the originals and can't tell a diference on my sony 36"xbr tv, sony dvd player, sony reciver, bose speakers, using monster cables to connect the componit vidio for best picter and opicatiual for best sound. i really was non bias, i don't understand why people say it's not high quality like the real backup way.
but anyway enough of my rambling if your still content on doing 2 disks i would say dvd x copie platinum keeps everything splits to 2 disks no compression.

i use dvd shrink and nero6 and thats it
don't know why they say to use image tools,or dvd decripter?
and it hasent failed me yet. knock, knock ( on wood )
