acess violation at address 00429304

whenever i try and do anything in g.k. loads of pop up windows telling me "acess violation at address 00429304 in module 'GordianKnot.exe'. read of address 0000002c."

i have g.k. 0.28.5 installed. on an xp. pent 4.

at first i just clicked thru 110 or so of these and tried to continue which seemed to allow me to begin encoding. but on completion the avi was totally shagged. all green and flicky and only 1% of set size..

any ideas?

are you trying to open up avi files and then get that error message? If so, that problem was fixed in 0.28.5.3 beta and the current version is 0.28.6.3 so I would suggest upgrading.

nah i'm trying to open .d2v files or .avs. i cant be bothered uckin around with no mo. so i'ma go back to using virtualdub and do it manually it seems much easier
