adding vob to a dvd with menu

I hope this question isn't too hard. I haven't seen anyone ask it before. I have a DVD that has 2 sides widescreen+fullscreen. I stripped out a couple of soundtracks on the widescreen side to make room for one segment from the fullscreen side. The DVD has a motion graphics menu that I really want to keep and there is a spot on the menu that directs you to the other side of the DVD for the segment I want to keep. Is there a way to keep the menu and add the segment to the rest of the widescreen movie? Let me know what software I need and how to do it. Much thanks in advance.

I'm not sure on this one but it might need some fancy ifo editing with ifoedit.Don't know how difficult it would be or if it'd even be possible.You might have tried this already but seeing how you have a fullsceen\widescreen thing going on,have you tried switching your edited vobs with the fullsceen ones and run ifoupdate.It might work if the menus for both are pretty much the same.
