"disk is empty" but its not!

hi guys,
i'm not sure if this is in the right section...

i had my cousin record some footage on the east coast. he recorded it on a dvd camera and sent me a mini dvd-r.

in windows the disk has no files on it. i have an mpeg2 plug-in for quicktime, quicktime won't play the disk. i thought maybe i would copy the dvd to my drive, but dvd decrypter reports "disk is empty"

i can see that there is information burned into the dye of the disk.

how can i get the video off this disk?

i was going to open it in quicktime and save it as a .mov so i can edit it.

A disc has to pass a couple of basic checks before the program believes it contains data. For some reason, yours isnt.

Try to copy the files to your HD with ISOBuster.
