Can't cut mpg with ac3 audio ?

Hi All,

I have this mpg file consisting of a vbr mp2 video stream and an AC3- audio stream. They were multiplex using the Simple Multiplexer of TMPEGEnc Tools. When I try to cut it in pieces with TMPEGEnc tools, the resulting mpg files have no audio :-(

I also tried cutting with M2-Edit, but this also tells me there is no audio. (When I play the original mpg-file in any player, there IS audio...)

Does any of you know how to succesfully cut an mpg-file with AC3 audio without going through some difficult 'demux - ac3 to wav - mux - cut - demux - wav to ac3 - mux' steps ?
